  • Walrus Audio Melee: Wall of Noise
Walrus Audio Melee: Wall of Noise
We give you the two most quintessential effects that yield unruly amounts of power and influence to an instrumentalist: reverb and distortion. They have been harnessed and woven together for an eternity of ethereal power with The Melee: Wall of Noise. The Melee unapologetically uses a joystick to meld reverb and distortion into one massive blaze of sound. With the flip of the order switch, run the distortion into the reverb or reverb into distortion; signal chain is your call now. For the explorer, the Melee can run one of three different reverb programs Ambient, Octave, and Reverse.

In a less is more approach, we’ve intentionally decided on controls that are fun to use and will inspire a wealth of creative output. Use the joystick to control the amount of distortion by moving it up and down. Moving the joystick left and right will adjust your reverb mix. The tone and decay toggles have low, medium, and high settings. Modulation can be added to the wet signal by holding down the bypass switch and moving the decay toggle. The left position is no modulation, the middle is a slight modulation, and the right is a high modulation.

    ALGORITHMS

The Melee is equipped with three different reverb programs, which can be changed by simultaneously pressing the bypass and sustain stomp switches. Experiment with the order toggle switch to hear how differently these all react in front and after the distortion!

    • Ambient Reverb (Pink LED) - Huge reverb capable of massive trails and engulfing your chords into an angry wash of sound. Great for soaring melodic lines or shoegaze-driven chord progressions.
    • Octave Down Reverb (Yellow LED) - Similar to the Dark mode in the Slö, you’ll find an eerie lower octave hovering in the reverb trail for a nice and dark atmospheric touch.
    • Reverse Reverb with Feedback (Blue LED) - Add reversed reverb trails back into your signal, create gentle melodies or push into reverse feedback overload. Big, slow, and sad chords love to hang out here.

    MOMENTARY
Press and hold the sustain switch to ramp up the reverb trails. Release and the trails will ramp back down to where the decay switch is currently set. The sustain switch can also latch in all three programs. Press and release the Sustain switch to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for long pad-like sounds in your wet mix. Press again to release the latch, and the reverb trail will taper off based on the position of the decay knob.

  • Warm Audio Centavo Professional Overdrive Pedal
Warm Audio Centavo Professional Overdrive Pedal
The Warm Audio Centavo is an accurate recreation of one of the most unattainable overdrive pedals in guitar history. Known by its lauded boost and overdriven tones, the craze for this uber-popular pedal continues today, long after its original production from 1994 to 2009. With prices soaring into unthinkable prices for a three-knob overdrive, it’s no wonder that guitar players like Jeff Beck, Joe Perry, John Mayer, and Josh Homme have found all the mythical magic of the original pedals to be worth the hype. The Warm Audio Centavo is a true-to-original overdrive pedal that authentically recreates the legendary experience and adored tones of the original, legendary box.

Whether you’re after the fabled boost tones, edge-of-breakup overdrive, or you want to push your rhythm channel to true grit - the Centavo has all of the adored tones of the original pedal. The Centavo is comfortable acting as a boost pedal, but the saturation in the higher gain settings provide a platform for true “transparent” overdriven rhythm tones. The addition of the “MOD” switch on the back - famously requested by Jeff Beck on the original pedal- allows players to extend the bass response, impacting the lower strings to get added low end drive tones.

The Centavo has three basic controls on the top - Gain, Treble, & Output. The gain on Centavo breaks up fairly late, with edge-of-breakup hitting after 50% and real clipping occurring late in the gain stage. The treble control is useful for dialing in more top-end for muddier guitars, like dual-humbucker models or all-mahogany instruments. The Centavo is loaded with output and can easily deliver clean boost, or create natural distortion if the tubes on your amplifier are already being pushed. Engaging the MOD switch on the back is a great tool to have at your disposal if the overdrive initially sounds “thin” in the lower register.

  • Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box Fuzz Pedal
Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box Fuzz Pedal
The new Foxy Tone Box from Warm Audio is a hyper-accurate recreation of one of the most sought-after and beloved fuzz pedals of all time - used in the early seventies by legendary tone masters Billy Gibbons and Peter Frampton, and in the present day by folks like Adrian Belew, Nine Inch Nails and Beck. Covered in thick velvet just like the vintage pedal, the Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box faithfully recreates the vintage circuit and brings you the huge tone, octave-up sounds and look of the original…without having to pay crazy vintage prices!

The specific components used in a pedal circuit are critical to the way that it sounds and reacts to your playing, so each Foxy Tone Box is assembled by hand using premium parts. We searched far and wide for a stash of the correct NOS (“New Old Stock”) Fairchild transistors used in the original—and then paired them with germanium diodes, high-watt carbon resistors, and film capacitors to bring the fury of the vintage pedal to the present day. It’s true bypass, and it sounds like nothing else on earth!

Just like the original, the Foxy Tone Box features controls for Volume, Sustain, and Fuzz (from “Mellow” to “Brite”), along with a switch to engage the pronounced octave effect. From mellow and subdued crunch to all-out searing fuzz and everything in between, this pedal is a virtual library of dirt encased in orange velvet!

To get started, keep the Octave switch off and roll the Fuzz to the “Mellow” side for warm, square-wave distortion. Then engage the Octave effect, crank the Fuzz to “Brite", and increase the Sustain for maxed-out, hyper-compressed tones that are barely hanging on for dear life! Electric guitar is the obvious application, but try it on synthesizers, drum machines, bass, acoustic/electric, and more. If you can plug a cable into it, the Foxy Tone Box can add character you just can’t get anywhere else.

  • Warm Audio Jet Phaser 6-Mode Phaser Guitar Pedal with Built-in Jet Fuzz Circuit
Warm Audio Jet Phaser 6-Mode Phaser Guitar Pedal with Built-in Jet Fuzz Circuit
The seventies were an amazing time, as bell-bottoms, chains and afros dominated the fashion scene and the swoosh and swirl of phaser effects were everywhere on the radio. From the guitar work of David Gilmour, Brian May and Eddie Van Halen to the trail-blazing keyboard stylings of Steely Dan, Herbie Hancock and Paul Simon’s Richard Tee, it seemed like everyone was incorporating phasers into their sound.

Of all of the designs available during that time period, one phaser pedal stood apart from the others due to its flexibility, sound quality and addition of fuzz sounds, and it was immediately adopted by funk bass pioneer Larry Graham as the core of his modulated sound with both Sly and The Family Stone and his own Graham Central Station.

The Warm Audio Jet Phaser is a hyper-authentic recreation of this famous pedal, accurate from the gooey swirl of the audio circuit to the look and feel of the enclosure, except that it’s true bypass and far more affordable and reliable than vintage units!

The Jet Phaser contains six modes, with two labeled "PHASE" and four labeled "JET". The two PHASE modes produce traditional phasing effects, with the first having moderate modulation depth for more subtle sounds, and the second having increased depth for more exaggerated results.

However, the similarities to normal phase pedals end there. The four JET modes engage the "jet" (or fuzz) effect, and that's when things get seriously fun!
      There are four fuzz/phase combinations:
    • Bright fuzz/shallow phase
    • Bright fuzz/deep phase
    • Dark fuzz/shallow phase
    • Dark fuzz/deep phase
When the JET modes are active, the pedal's output level is controlled by the JET LEVEL knob. This enables you to set up the JET modes as a boost, if desired—which could be perfect for solos!

The Jet Phaser also features a RESONANCE control that's available in all six modes, allowing you to dial in varying amounts of filtered sci-fi craziness. Additionally, you get creative control of the modulation rate: the SLOW RATE knob allows you to set the main modulation speed, but hitting the FAST/SLOW foot switch always kicks the rate up to the maximum speed possible. It’s a cool design, because the change from fast to slow ramps up and down gradually like an organ’s rotary speaker. Unlike most phasers, the Jet Phaser can actually get “in-between” speeds by continuously hitting the FAST/SLOW foot switch like organ players do!

The Jet Phaser’s true bypass operation makes it easy to incorporate into any rig, and the fact that it runs at 18V gives it high headroom and pristine audio quality (it can be powered with the included 18VDC adapter or two 9V batteries). We already know it'll sound great on guitar, bass, and keys, but don't let that stop you from slapping it on a vocal track or a drum bus - use your imagination!

  • Warm Audio ODD Box v1Hard-Clipping Overdrive Pedal
Warm Audio ODD Box v1Hard-Clipping Overdrive Pedal
The Warm Audio ODD Box V1 (“ODD” for short) is a hard-clipping, op-amp-based overdrive inspired by an iconic pedalboard staple known for having a “cranked amp” tone. Perfect for boosting, adding breakup, or adding high gain to cleans, the ODD has all the tonal versatility of its inspiration. Delivering all of the sounds of a cranked, saturated tube amp, the ODD features classic-inspired controls, including a UK/US Switch, to flip the personality of ODD from a “British” to an “American” tube amp. True to its inspiration, the ODD delivers the sound of massive, live electric guitar that attracted players like Billy Gibbons, Mark Hoppus, Eric Johnson, J Mascis, Paul Gilbert, and many more to that open tube amp sound.

The ODD brings the coveted “amp-in-a-box” tone to any stage or studio. With a high degree of touch sensitivity combined with powerful drive and tone controls - the ODD sounds like a full stack regardless of volume. The added versatility of the UK/US switch ensures that any guitar or amp will deliver a true cranked-amp tone in any setup.

To accurately deliver this artist-favorite tone, the ODD is built with through-hole construction using premium components, including a TLO82CP Op-Amp, 2N7000 transistors, & hand-selected capacitors & resistors.

The ODD has three critical OD controls on the front with a special addition. Drive controls the amount of clipping, or “overdrive” tone. The tone control increases treble as you turn it clockwise. The Volume control acts like a master output, increasing volume as you turn it clockwise. The UK/US switch quickly changes the personality of the ODD. The UK setting distorts earlier, bumps the upper mids, and increases volume - giving this setting more of a cranked, "chimey" amplifier tone. The US setting has a little more clean headroom, allowing the ODD to act more like a boost at first, and better aligns with traditional tweed-based "edge of breakup" amplifier tones.

  • Warm Audio Warm BenderSelectable Three-Circuit Tone Bender-Style Fuzz Pedal
Warm Audio Warm BenderSelectable Three-Circuit Tone Bender-Style Fuzz Pedal
From rolled-down wooly tweed tones all the way to riff-worthy growl and grit, the Warm Audio Warm Bender delivers the ultimate Tone Bender-style fuzz experience in one pedal. The Warm Audio Warm Bender features three dedicated, selectable circuits that accurately deliver two of the most iconic Germanium Tone Bender fuzz tones plus a bonus, modern silicon circuit. Many legendary guitar tracks by artists like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, and more were crafted using the two most popular versions of the iconic British Bender fuzz sound. The debate rages over which Bender fuzz tone is most legendary, but why choose one when you can have both on your board?

Why choose one classic Tone Bender when you can have three? Choose between the NOS 76 (1X OC76 & 1X SFT337 transistors) setting for the “early” Bender tones with cutting highs, clear presence and drive that cleans up beautifully. For legendary riff-worthy fuzz with added bass response, the NOS 75 (3X OC75 transistors) setting delivers that Mark II Professional-style Bender fuzz tone. To hear the Bender sound with a tighter low and top end response, smooth distortion-like tone, use the 3-transistor topology Silicon setting. The added SAG control starves the voltage to create that “dying battery” tone with added touch-sensitivity and compression. Warm Bender is made with 100% through-hole construction using NOS Germanium transistors and every pedal is hand inspected and tested at Warm Audio HQ in Austin Texas by real musicians and engineers with a passion for superior sound.

The Warm Bender pedal has the typical ATTACK (Gain/Fuzz) and LEVEL (Loudness) controls of a Tone Bender-style pedal. The SAG switch starves the voltage from 9V to 6V - perfect for that touch-sensitive compressed tone.

  • Warm Audio Warmdrive Amp-In-A-Box Overdrive Pedal
Warm Audio Warmdrive Amp-In-A-Box Overdrive Pedal
The Warm Audio Warmdrive is a true reproduction of the most sought-after "amp-in-a-box" pedal of all time, delivering the tones of a truly unattainable overdriven amp. Both guitar heroes and modern virtuosos like SRV, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, John Mayer, Santana, and Cory Wong are known to have used either the original amplifier or the pedal inspired by it. With an artist roster like that, it’s no wonder that original vintage pedals are talked about amongst the most demanding and discerning chasers of tone. Staying true to the legacy, the Warmdrive delivers all the tones of the original pedal and amplifier that inspired it.

Whether you’re driving cleans into breakup, thickening up rhythm tones, or saturating solos, the Warmdrive can transform your amp from a polite and clean pedal platform into a fuzzy monster. While the Warmdrive has plenty of dynamic gain on tap, adding the pedal to your rig does not dramatically alter or diminish your tone. Just like the original, the Warmdrive has the unique Voice/Tone control to go from silky-smooth tones reminiscent of that special overdriven amp at the sweet spot all the way to sustain-rich distortion. It’s like having the best of both worlds, from clean to mean.

The voice/tone control combination on the stomp box gives artists extra versatility compared to the typical overdrive pedal, allowing the player to modify the frequency both before (voice control) and after (tone control) the clipping stages. Playing with the knobs can create dynamic sounds that almost seem like two guitar signals going at once. Warmdrive will also push beyond light overdrive, all the way to a saturated cascading gain tone that makes it easy to get lost in a solo jam. Couple these controls with critical volume and gain knobs and the Warmdrive is a venerable addition to any live or studio rig.

  • XOTIC EFFECTS EP BOOSTER CLEAN BOOST WITH ECHOPLEX PREAMP
XOTIC EFFECTS EP BOOSTER CLEAN BOOST WITH ECHOPLEX PREAMP
The Xotic Effects EP Booster is a clean boost pedal taken to the next level. It is capable of providing up to +20db of clean boost without ever compromising the original tone. What seperates the EP Booster from other boost pedals out there is that the circuitry is based on the preamp circuit of the famed Maestro Echoplex used by famous players like Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, and Eric Johnson. Because of this, the pedal is capable of providing an array of shimmering, warm undertones, giving your sound an incredible boost. The EP also has two tiny DIP switches underneath the back plate which control high-end frequency boost and low-end frequency response. And due to its small size it will fit on even the most cramped of pedal boards. The EP Booster is the perfect pedal for adding overall fatness to your tone without any overbearing frequencies, and when used with a killer overdrive pedal or an overdriven amp, it's like icing on the tone cake! Like any Xotic pedal the EP is true bypass and is made with only the highest quality components. It can be powered with an optional power adaptor or a 9V battery.

  • Xotic SL Drive Distortion
    Xotic SL Drive Distortion
A hot little number that cranks out the legendary British saturation of the Super Lead and Super Bass amps.

Famous for its woody, organic and beautiful sounds of saturation, these legendary British amplifiers, the Super Lead & Super Bass, have been delivering one of the all-time classic sounds for almost 50 years. Players like Jimmy Page, Paul Kossoff and countless other relied on this type of tone for their signature sound.

Xotic have recreated this vintage masterpiece in a rugged small enclosure. The SL Drive offers very amp-like response and cleans up nicely with a roll of your guitar's volume knob. The internal dip switches allow you to choose the sound characteristics of both 1959 models. The Super Lead setting offers a brighter tone with more gain, while the Super Bass setting has more low end with less high end. Its compact design conforms nicely to the smallest space on any pedal board.

The SL Drive is equipped with true bypass switching and eliminates any signal interference when switched off. Power requirements are either 9V battery or AC adapter (optional).

  • ZOAR Dynamic Audio Grinder - USAPowder: Blue Hammertone | Print: White | Knobs: 1900 Black
ZOAR Dynamic Audio Grinder - USAPowder: Blue Hammertone | Print: White | Knobs: 1900 Black
Zoar is a highly interactive medium-high gain discrete distortion (using only transistors; no opamps or diodes in here!) that has that highly sought after touch sensitive amp-like quality. It has been finely tuned to create a highly tweakable hi-fi and modern sounding distortion, but with the ghosts of old school circuitry to deliver a grind that is both instantly familiar and delightfully unique.

From defined sparkle and tightness of an overdrive to low-medium gain fuzz that’s perfect for drop tuned guitars and basses, Zoar can do it all. Zoar lets you dial in and control every nuance of your tone from jangly on-the-verge of break up to blowing the walls out heavy saturation.

While having its roots in a very familiar past, the passive 3-band EQ has been finely tuned for modern tones. While this style of tone shaping seems simple on the surface, it is deceptively complex and highly interactive - yet surprisingly easy to instantly dial in dozens of mind blowing sounds.

This meticulously crafted box has six knobs that allow you to truly customize your sound with the Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls.

The Gain control on Zoar goes from the edge of break up all the way over the cliff into the crunchy, grinding abyss. The character of the distortion is heavily dependent on the setting of the Weight control as well as the pickup type and further fine-tuned by the EQ section.

The 3-Band EQ and Gain controls give you nearly unlimited options with great focus and sensitive precision, but the real powerhouse of Zoar is the Weight control. This control dictates the amount of low end that is passed into the circuit, thus controlling the entire character of the pedal. Simply dial in the 3-Band EQ to 12 o’clock and adjust the Weight to see how drastically it dictates your sound. From a mere clean boost to a high gain distortion to overdrive to the crispy hi-fi fuzz territory, this function gives you everything.

The Level control hits unity around noon, but this is dependent on where the other controls are set. In addition to controlling the output volume, it also plays a small part in controlling the voice of Zoar. By adjusting the Level control with any combination of EQ (boosting the frequency bands and cutting the output volume), you can achieve drastically different curves that have the feel of the more traditional low pass filter type tone control.

Want to elevate your sonic spirit to a higher level? Try running Zoar at higher voltage! Zoar can handle power up to 18v DC. Higher voltages will yield a different frequency response with more defined dynamics and a faster response. When powered at 18v, the range of clean tones are widened, dirty tones become punchier with better note articulation, low frequencies are tightened, higher frequencies will cover a broader spectrum without becoming harsh and the output volume nearly doubles! The experience is not unlike plugging into a wall of high wattage tube amplifiers!
