    • High-quality pitch shifting
    • Three-voice Detune capability
    • Super Bend provides up to four octaves of extreme pitch bending
    • Control pitch via expression pedal (optional BOSS FV-500L/H or Roland EV-5)
    • BOSS five-year warranty

The PS-6 is the new-generation pedal for harmony shifting. Sound quality has been improved dramatically thanks to the DSP that is unparalleled in power. With the PS-6, you can render complex harmony voicings beautifully, naturally, and easily.

The PS-6 can generate two or three voices, such as direct/third/fifth, in each of the following modes: Pitch Shifter, Detune, and Harmony. This will add rich depth to your guitar sound. Detune broadens the sound in a natural way, as the PS-6 allows 3-voice detuning with slightly raised and lowered pitch added to the direct signal. Voices can also be pitch-shifted one octave up and a fifth below your note — great for arpeggio-style playing, for example.

This amazing effect bends pitch across a 7-octave span, from –3 to +4 octaves! Set the Rise and Fall time to your taste. You can control the bending effect in real time with the pedal’s knob or from an external pedal such as Roland’s EV-5 Expression Pedal (sold separately).

Manipulate a wide variety of effects using simple operations. In Harmony mode, for example, all you have to do is select the key, specify whether it’s major or minor, and use the SHIFT knob to select the voicing you want to use. The Shift knob switches between the different pitch settings available in each mode.

BOSS compact pedals are world-famous for their great sound as well as their road-tough construction, consistency, and reliability. The PS-6 inherits this BOSS-proven design, offering guitarists a solidly constructed pedal that’s built to withstand decades of demanding use.

  • Earthquaker Bit Commander V2 Octave Synth
Earthquaker Bit Commander V2 Octave Synth
The Bit Commander is a monophonic analog guitar synthesizer with four octaves of vintage square wave synth tones. Its no-nonsense interface makes it easy to add or subtract octaves to create a wide variety of sounds without having to dial in envelopes or oscillators. Ripping sub-octave thump, pulsing octave down, a lightly squared base tone and a swelling transformer based octave up all join together to make a single guitar sound like an army of olde tyme synths.

Like all analog octave effects, there are some basic rules to follow that will get you the most enjoyment from your Bit Commander. Use the neck pickup and play single notes. The best tracking occurs from the 7th fret up on all the strings. Below the 7th will still track but there will be occasional glitches and stutters. The lower the note, the harder it is for the Bit Commander to register. The use of Bass and lower registers on keyboards will yield unexpected, sometimes pleasing, sometimes disgusting results. These are not mistakes or flaws, it is the nature of analog octaves.

  • Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine Polyphonic Pitch Mesmerizer
Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine Polyphonic Pitch Mesmerizer
    Polyphonic Pitch Shifting Modulator

Welcome to the Rainbow Machine, in all its synthetic glory! This one is for experimenters, adventurists and noisemakers. Totally not for purists and/or tone hounds, there are no “natural sounds” that will come from this box. It takes modern DSP and uses it as a tool of future past to create real time pitch shifting using digital oscillators. The sound is much different than most modern day pitch shifting devices. It was imagineered to be wild and out of control and slightly imperfect while still tracking up and down the guitar neck without glitching out.

A cold digital beast made to pretend it has feelings. It will do basic polyphonic harmonies from a 4th down through a 3rd up and every atonal pitch in between. You may add in an accompanying octave of the harmony by bringing up the Secondary function control. You can take it way beyond and open up your third eye by bringing in the Magic.

The Magic is the heart of the Rainbow Machine. In conjunction with the Tracking control, the Magic creates wild pitch take offs and descents, chaos chorusing, shrieks, pixie trails and wealth of other general mayhem inducing noises. The pitch can be controlled by an external expression pedal for extra fun!

The Rainbow Machine can be used on bass, keys, vocals or anything else you can dream up! This device has become a main stay of so many studios and touring musicians that we have lost count!

All digital wet signal with an all analog dry signal, true bypass switching and handmade one at a time by warm blooded human beans in the swamps of Akron, Ohio.

  • Earthquaker Devices Spatial Delivery V3 Envelope Filter w/ Scramble and Hold
Earthquaker Devices Spatial Delivery V3 Envelope Filter w/ Scramble and Hold
For all the Spatial Delivery diehards, all of the funky, familiar features of the original are still in place. It boasts three modes - switchable Up Sweep, Down Sweep and Sample and Hold functions - along with Range, Resonance and Filter controls. Get some wild filter sweeps with the Up and Down modes and adjust the Range to control the sensitivity and reaction time of the envelope, altering the width of the frequency sweep. In the Sample and Hold mode, the Filter is controlled by random voltage and the Range controls the speed. The Filter can be crossfaded between high pass (counterclockwise), band pass (center) and low pass (clockwise) for a wide variety of voices. The resonance control goes from zero to the brink of oscillation and adds more body and ring to the filter voice. Try to find something funky and formidable that the Spatial Delivery can’t do - we dare you!
      CONTROLS
    • Mode: This toggles between upward sweep, downward sweep or sample and hold.
    • Range: Adjusts the sensitivity of the envelope in Up and Down mode. In Sample and Hold mode, this controls the speed.
    • Filter: This crossfades between high pass and low pass filters and allows you to get everything in between. High pass is fully counterclockwise, low pass is full clockwise and center is band pass. This is much more useful than a simple switch you would typically find on a multi-mode because it allows you to blend the filters for different sounds!
    • Resonance: This is the filter feedback control. It adds more body and ring to the filter voice.
    • Presets: Six available preset slots for you to save and recall your favorite settings! The settings for each of the three controls, the mode switch and the expression jack assignment can be saved and recalled in any of the slots.

  • Earthquaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal Octave Distortion + Booster
Earthquaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal Octave Distortion + Booster
Sunn O))) and EarthQuaker Devices are pleased to bring you the Sunn O))) Life Pedal Volume III.

The Sunn O))) Life Pedal circuit has been meticulously tweaked from the original to squeeze every last drop of heavy crushing tone available. The octave section has been fine tuned to make it more pronounced without losing the bottom end and we added a third footswitch, utilizing Flexi-Switch® Technology, for the octave to allow an additional method of quick and radical tone shaping. We are excited to have this back in permanent production, it is a true labor of love.

Birth of the Sunn O))) Life Pedal

n the writing sessions for Life Metal Stephen & Greg worked extensively shearing their tones toward a broader energy spectrum over high powered saturation and across planes of sonic character, with the ambition to take full advantage of Steve Albini’s (the recording engineer for the album) exacting capture skills.

The results are astounding: there is breadth and luminosity of colour, vast sonic cosmoses, flashes of abstract colour (synthetic and objective) through resulting themes which emerged from the mastered depths of saturation and circuits between the two players and their mountains of gear.

The Sunn O))) Life Pedal is designed to represent the core front end chain used in those sessions, to drive the tubes of the band’s multiple vintage Sunn O))) Model T amplifiers (or take your fancy) into overload ecstasy. This is a 100w tube amp full stack’s holy dream, or its apostate nightmare.

An octave fuzz inspired by the Shin-Ei FY2 & FY6 units leads the circuit into a brutal big box rodent inspired distortion, recreated with the best components, and including a three-way clipping switch (op Amp, Asymmetric & Symmetric). Second stage is a purely clean boost to further overdrive the preamp tubes of your vintage system into -scaped harmonics, and feedback overtone bliss.

Chasms are cleared, mountains sheared, glaciers calved, novæ birthed. Vintage valve amplifiers recommended. We hope you transcend.

Designed and manufactured by EarthQuaker Devices in the dark corridors of Akron, Ohio.

    What is it?

Sunn O))) Life Pedal is a distortion with a blendable analog octave up and a booster combined in one compact package. The “Amplitude” side is faithfully modeled after the classic “White Face” distortion unit, using modern, reliable components to last a lifetime. The only modifications made to the original circuit are in the clipping section. The traditional circuit uses a single pair of silicon diodes for a tight, compressed crunch. The Sunn O))) Life Pedal introduces two additional clipping options to better adapt to different rigs. The first position is no diodes to allow for full, grinding OpAmp assault at maximum volume. The second position utilizes two silicon diodes and one LED in an asymmetrical clipping configuration. This delivers a slightly compressed and smooth crunch, similar to a valve amplifier. The last position is the stock double silicon diode configuration which provides that classic tone you know and love.

The Octave in Sunn O))) Life Pedal is an all-discrete, analog full-wave rectifier base on a classic vintage design. Located at the input of the circuit, the Octave control slowly blends in the octave effects as you turn it clockwise. This feature can also be used via expression control allowing for wild, hands-free octave swells mid-riff or using the footswitch for immediate octave fuzz destruction. Because this is an analog octave effect, it is monophonic and works best playing single notes above the twelfth fret while using the neck pickup. Playing chords with the analog octave will sound clanging and chaotic. Using the bridge pickup and playing below the twelfth fret will produce a very subtle octave effect. Going full Octave transforms Sunn O))) Life Pedal from a simple distortion device into a swelling, raging fuzz similar to the classic Super Fuzz!

The “Magnitude” section is a simple all-discrete MOSFET booster designed to blast your preamp tubes and drive them wild. It is a 100% clean, no-nonsense, high impedance booster that adds very little color to your tone. It does not add distortion on its own but has plenty of output to push your amp into saturation.

The signal path goes Octave>Distortion>Boost. The octave distortion and booster can be used independently with their own respective footswitches.
    • Sunn O))) Life Peda is a distortion with a blendable analog octave up and a booster

  • EH NANO Q-TRON Envelope Filter
    EH NANO Q-TRON Envelope Filter
A compact version of the classic Micro Q-Tron Envelope Controlled Filter known for its organic, analog sound and expressivity.

Envelope controlled filter is an effect type that ventures beyond the mainstream yet is equally at home in a wide range of genres and equally effective on guitar, bass, keys, horns and more. Electro-Harmonix is a pioneer in this effect category and has been making envelope controlled filter pedals since the 1970s! The Nano Q-Tron springboards off that deep heritage.

Here’s how it works: The Nano Q-Tron responds to the user’s playing style and dynamics. The volume of the input signal it receives (also called the envelope) controls the cutoff or center frequency of a swept filter. This allows the Nano Q-Tron to create tone-altering effects ranging from subtle to dynamic, auto-wah to ultra-funky. It’s all about how you play and it’s super interactive.
    • Vol (Volume) knob which controls the pedal’s output volume
    • Drive Control adjusts its filter sweep sensitivity and how the pedal responds to the user’s playing dynamics
    • Q Control sets the peak bandwidth of the filter and determines how subtle or dramatic the effect will be
    • LP BP HP Mode Switch controls what frequency range the filter will pass. LP (low pass) emphasizes the lows, BP (band pass) the midrange and HP (high pass) the highs

  • Walrus Audio Fable: Granular Soundscape Generator
Walrus Audio Fable: Granular Soundscape Generator
In the high woodlands of the north, undiscovered by most inhabitants, there ruled a clan of old, mystic Treefolk. On the first new moon of spring, these Treefolk could be heard grafting limbs to grow their young - splicing bits of branches from each generation to produce the next line of Treefolk. These new beings keep the lifeblood of all who came before in their new skin. These sounds are in part very old but in part very new. They are referred to as… Fable.

Let your storybook adventure grow with the Fable Granular Soundscape Generator. The Fable creates new sonic adventures with five granular delay programs centered around sample and chop algorithms. The Fable generates its wonder with a dual feedback path developed by DSP engineers at Walrus Audio. With two DSP chips, your signal is run through two separate effects in series (independently controlled by the Feedback and Regen Knobs), then the signals are run back through both DSP chips again before going through the output. What does that mean? Artists will discover unique soundscapes ranging from smooth, flowing ambience; to bizarre, organic reverberance; to chaotic, glitchy swarms.

What exactly is this granular effect and why is it a magical experience when combined with delay? Granular is a digital processing technique of micro-sampling, wherein short samples called grains are read from a delay buffer. In the Fable, players can adjust these grains by manipulating their sampling length, position, and buffer size from which they’re read. They can be played at double or half speed for pitch shift and time stretching effects, play them in reverse, read from multiple positions, and more, to achieve different effects.

It’s a powerful but complex technique and we’ve created five streamlined programs in the Fable that explore different aspects of its sonic range.

    Programs
    I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Granular
Program 1 runs a reverse delay into a reverse granular algorithm, in which sampled grains are played backwards. Reversal and re-reversal build up in the feedback paths, creating a complex and organically shifting soundscape. Turn grain size down for long, smooth reversed transients, and grain size up for stuttering reverse glitch madness.

II. Forward Delay into Octave Up Granular
Program 2 runs a forward delay into an octave-up granular program, in which sampled grains are played at double speed. Swarms of double-speed grains build up in the feedback path for bright and airy cascades of sound.

III. Analog-Style Delay into Octave Down Granular
Program 3 runs a warm, dark analog-style delay into an octave-down granular program, in which sampled grains are played back at half speed. Slowed down repeats combined with analog-style processing to create deep, thunderous footfalls and thick, murky ambience.

    IV. Multi-Tap Granular into Multi-Tap Granular (Grain-Verb)
Program 4 runs two multi-tap granular algorithms in series, in which multiple samples are played back from each granular buffer simultaneously. Multiple points of sampled sound build upon each other in the feedback paths to create glitchy clouds and unique organic reverberance. Time in this program controls time-stretching of both granular algorithms, changing both the length and tonal character of the granular effect.

    V. Forward Delay into Randomized Pitch Granular
Program 5 runs a forward delay into a randomized pitch granular program, in which each grain is played back at a randomly selected speed and direction, varying between pitched up double speed, pitched down half speed, normal speed, plus forward and reversed playback from grain to grain. Pitch changes with each new grain, so play with the X knob in this program to control the rate of randomized pitch modulation.

  • Walrus Audio Melee: Wall of Noise
Walrus Audio Melee: Wall of Noise
We give you the two most quintessential effects that yield unruly amounts of power and influence to an instrumentalist: reverb and distortion. They have been harnessed and woven together for an eternity of ethereal power with The Melee: Wall of Noise. The Melee unapologetically uses a joystick to meld reverb and distortion into one massive blaze of sound. With the flip of the order switch, run the distortion into the reverb or reverb into distortion; signal chain is your call now. For the explorer, the Melee can run one of three different reverb programs Ambient, Octave, and Reverse.

In a less is more approach, we’ve intentionally decided on controls that are fun to use and will inspire a wealth of creative output. Use the joystick to control the amount of distortion by moving it up and down. Moving the joystick left and right will adjust your reverb mix. The tone and decay toggles have low, medium, and high settings. Modulation can be added to the wet signal by holding down the bypass switch and moving the decay toggle. The left position is no modulation, the middle is a slight modulation, and the right is a high modulation.

    ALGORITHMS

The Melee is equipped with three different reverb programs, which can be changed by simultaneously pressing the bypass and sustain stomp switches. Experiment with the order toggle switch to hear how differently these all react in front and after the distortion!

    • Ambient Reverb (Pink LED) - Huge reverb capable of massive trails and engulfing your chords into an angry wash of sound. Great for soaring melodic lines or shoegaze-driven chord progressions.
    • Octave Down Reverb (Yellow LED) - Similar to the Dark mode in the Slö, you’ll find an eerie lower octave hovering in the reverb trail for a nice and dark atmospheric touch.
    • Reverse Reverb with Feedback (Blue LED) - Add reversed reverb trails back into your signal, create gentle melodies or push into reverse feedback overload. Big, slow, and sad chords love to hang out here.

    MOMENTARY
Press and hold the sustain switch to ramp up the reverb trails. Release and the trails will ramp back down to where the decay switch is currently set. The sustain switch can also latch in all three programs. Press and release the Sustain switch to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for long pad-like sounds in your wet mix. Press again to release the latch, and the reverb trail will taper off based on the position of the decay knob.
