PRS Silver Sky, Wild Blue Ltd. Pre Order

Wild Blue was prototyped early on in the PRS x John Mayer relationship and has been waiting for its day in the sun since the original launch of the PRS Silver Sky in 2018. The Silver Sky Wild Blue Limited Edition is now the first Silver Sky to feature a matching, painted headstock. The Silver Sky’s classic specs are maintained here, including an alder body and 25.5” scale length maple neck – though the Wild Blue limited will only come with a rosewood fretboard, complete with 7.25” radius and small bird inlays. Other appointments include a steel tremolo, bone nut, vintage-style locking tuners, and Mayer’s signature 635JM pickups. PRS will make up to 1,000 Wild Blue Silver Sky guitars in 2026. This classic color now joins the ranks of only two previous limited-edition Silver Sky colors: Nebula and Lunar Ice.
