Taylor is excited to give its newest body style, the compact GT (Grand Theater), a fresh look and sound in the form of a blacktop (spruce) edition featuring solid American walnut back and sides. Tonally, walnut showcases a woody, focused midrange and, together with the GT body and C-ClassTM bracing, yields a punchy, responsive voice that amplifies and records exceptionally well and cuts through in a mix with other instruments. Model details include comfortable chamfered body edges, a contrasting maple/black rosette, 4mm Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, a thin matte-finish body with a black top, a black pickguard and Taylor Mini nickel tuners. The guitar also features onboard ES2 electronics and ships with Taylor’s lightweight yet sturdy AeroCaseTM.
