Another fine addition from the Xotic Effects Custom Shop, the AC Booster Comp takes the world famous AC Booster to a whole new level. It features a new three way compression switch allowing the user to dial in three different overdrive and compression sounds with varying levels of attack and roll off. The AC Comp also features several internal DIP switches which can be tweaked to achieve varying levels of compression, as well as subtle tonal differences, and various levels of presence. The main circuit on the pedal has also been further modified to provide tighter sounding overdrive while maintaining all of its creamy smoothness. The AC Booster Comp features a sleek brushed aluminum housing and unique colored scripting. Like every Xotic Effects pedal it is true bypass and is made with the absolute highest quality components. It can be powered by an optional power adaptor or by 9V battery.
