It is capable of a +20db clean boost, and also has a +15db 2 band EQ which NEVER compromises the original tone. The RC Booster also helps solve the problem of signal degradation due to long effects chains with varying outputs, by boosting the original signal. Along with volume, bass, and treble, it also has a very expressive gain control allowing for an extremely wide range of tone shaping. Like every Xotic pedal, it is true bypass and is made with only the finest quality components. The RC can be powered by an optional AC adaptor or a 9V battery.
